I was doing a research this am, when I stumbled upon this video, that got me so inspired that I had to share!
What you will see is a commercial from a Swedish supermarket, Coop, who conducted a test with the goal to find out more about what happens to our body when you switch from conventional to organic food. The results were shocking, so they decided to make a short film to share with the masses with the intention to inspire more people to eat organic.
The residue of chemicals and pesticides on conventional produce were found in the human body and when switching to organic they almost disappeared completely! These insecticides are toxic to the human and have negative effects to our nervous system and health!!!

I know that buying organic is more expensive, especially for larger families, I have been dealing with this objection with a couple of my clients. wink emoticon Don’t worry tho!
The EWG (Environmental Working Group), a non profit organization of scientists, researchers and policymakers, created a list of “The Dirty Dozen” and “The Clean Fifteen”, which are two lists that highlights respectively the highest and lowest pesticide loads in each food.
The results for 2015 are the following:
DIRTY DOZEN: This year they are actually 15!!! This is a list with the most contaminated foods (pesticides, insecticides and chemicals) YOU NEED TO BUY THEM ORGANIC:
3. CHERRY TOMATOES
9. SNAP PEAS
12. SWEET BELL PEPPERS
13. HOT PEPPERS
15. COLLARD GREENS
CLEAN FIFTEEN: This instead is a list of produce less likely to hold pesticide residues and they detected a relatively low amount of pesticides of on these foods so in case you can’t afford the whole list organic these are OK TO BUY CONVENTIONAL:
2. SWEET CORN
5. FROZEN SWEET PEAS
15. SWEET POTATOES
